Descubre tu lado salvaje
Discover your wild side
Seven days of ocean air, jungle trails, and a pace that's nothing like the one you're holding at home.
We're heading to the South Pacific Coast of Costa Rica: surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, climbing, and ending each day in the lush coastal greenery of Dominical.
If you've ever sat across from me in clinic and thought, "yes, I trust you"… this is an extension of that.
Just in a very different setting.

Small group. Limited spots.
A Note From Dr. Bri
Costa Rica has become one of my favourite places in the world.
I've been there three times in the last three years, and every time I leave, I start thinking about when I can go back.
For years, I've wanted to bring a group of women with me to experience this incredible country. I've also faithfully been taking weekly Spanish lessons for nearly four years, and one of the highlights of the trip will be a beginner Spanish lesson with my teacher in Costa Rica.
What excites me most isn't any one activity. It's sharing an unforgettable experience together, making new friends, trying new things, and creating memories you'll still be talking about years from now.
And we get to do it all in one of my favourite places on earth... with some of the best coffee you'll ever taste.
I'd love for you to come with me 💛
Dr. Briana Botsford, ND
This Is For You If…
You take your health seriously, but you’re not rigid about it
You like to move, explore, and try new things
You already trust me and how I think about health
You’re craving something that feels energizing, not just relaxing
You want to be around women who are also doing a lot with their lives
This is not for you if you’re looking for luxury travel.
We're not staying in five-star resorts. We're staying in modest, comfortable 3-star accommodations that support the experience.
Because the focus isn't the hotel.
It's what we're doing, where we're going, and how you feel while you're there.
What This Actually Feels Like
Early morning delicious coffee in warm air that already feels different on your skin.
Scaling a natural rock face and realizing you're stronger than you thought.
Standing at the edge of the Pacific, waves crashing in, deciding if you're actually going to try surfing… and then doing it.
Snorkeling through a coral reef so alive you forget to think about anything else.
Paddling along the coastline, watching the cliffs and tunnels of Ventanas appear around every bend.
Dinner with a group of women who, somehow, feel like familiar besties by day two.
And moments in between where nothing is scheduled, and you can feel your body exhale.
It's less about doing more… and more about experiencing things differently.
Where We're Going
We start in San José and make our way down to Dominical on the South Pacific Coast, one of Costa Rica's most beautiful and least crowded stretches of coastline.
This is where the jungle meets the ocean. Where the pace shifts. Where you'll wake up to warm air and go to sleep having actually done something.
San José: Arrival, orientation, welcome dinner together
Dominical: Our home base for five days of adventure, ocean, and open time
What We're Doing
○
What We're Doing ○
Day 1: Welcome to Costa Rica
Arrive into San José (Juan Santamaría International Airport, SJO). Meet the group in the lobby at 5:30pm. We'll head out for a welcome dinner together, the first of many good meals and better conversations.
Dinner included
Day 2: Journey to Dominical (with a detour worth stopping for)
After breakfast, we leave the city behind. On the way south, we stop in Cachi for a rock climbing session on a natural stone wall with routes ranging from beginner to advanced. No experience needed; all equipment is provided. Then we continue on to Dominical, arriving by evening with the night free to settle in, explore, and eat on your own.
Activities: Rock Climbing (~2 hrs)
Breakfast + Lunch included
Day 3: Snorkeling at Ballena Island
This morning we head to Punta Uvita and board a boat for one of the best snorkeling experiences on the Pacific Coast. Marino Ballena National Park is home to vibrant coral reefs, parrotfish, butterflyfish, starfish, and more, explored at depths of just 3–10 feet. A naturalist guide leads the way. The afternoon is yours.
Activities: Snorkeling Tour at Ballena Marine Park (~3 hrs)
Breakfast included
Day 4: Kayaking the Coastline
Paddle along Costa Ballena and take in the dramatic cliffs and sea tunnels of Playa Ventanas, a stretch of coast so beautiful it almost doesn't feel real. You'll stop for fruit snacks on the beach and have the chance to swim or try your hand at kayak surfing. Afternoon is free.
Activities: Ocean Kayaking (~2 hrs)
Breakfast included
Day 5: Surf Lesson
You don't need to know how to surf. You just need to show up. We transfer to a nearby beach for a beginner lesson where you're guaranteed to stand up and ride a wave. The lesson starts on the beach, then you're in the water with your coach. The rest of the day is yours to rest, explore, or go back in.
Activities: Surf Lesson (~2 hrs)
Breakfast included
Day 6: Back to San José
Our last morning in Dominical. We savour breakfast, then make the journey north with a lunch stop along the way. We arrive in San José in the afternoon and gather one final time for a farewell dinner, a proper toast to the week.
Breakfast + Lunch + Dinner included
Day 7: Pura Vida
All good things must come to an end, until the next one. Enjoy a final breakfast, then make your way home. Fly out of Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO).
